Children may be enrolled to start school in February of the year in which they turn five, provided their birthday is on or before 30th April. Prospective school families are invited to phone or email the school to arrange a mutually convenient time for a school visit. This is an opportunity to tour the classrooms, meet teaching staff and discuss their child's needs.
An Application for Enrolment form (inc: copies of Baptism Certificate, Immunization Certificate and Birth Certificate) is completed and returned to the school office.
Enrolment information is circulated to all Bendigo Kindergartens and Child Care Centres in April and May each year. Enrolments at Holy Rosary are then confirmed by the end of second term.

A Kinder-to-School Transition program is run in November. This includes parent information and getting-to-know-you sessions, with the aim of the school start being smooth and natural, for all the family. On our Transition days the children attend and work in the Prep classrooms with the our teachers whilst their parents are invited to get to know each other and information sessions.
School Staff are always happy to discuss any aspect of school readiness, special needs etc and work closely with local Kinders to assist families in their decision-making, and to support students beginning school.
